Janitha is the Deputy General Manager for BPO operations at HBSI. He brings 18+ years of experience in Business Process Management (BPM), Commercial Finance & Financial Controllership functions.
Prior to joining HBSI, Janitha was with Haleon Sri Lanka (previously known as GlaxoSmithKline) for 13 years and served as the Senior Manager Finance, where he headed the Finance Shared Services and acted as the Financial Controller for the Sri Lankan market. He was the Market Implementation Lead for SAP deployment in Sri Lanka and during his final stint he was assigned as the Global Project Delivery Lead for selected Haleon project roll-outs.
He has also worked with leading brands such as WNS Global Services and Brandix Mercury (Accenture Lanka) and was involved in process migrations for Life Insurance vertical from UK during his stint at WNS.
Janitha holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Birmingham City University – UK, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from University of Colombo. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants – UK (ACMA & CGMA).
